Last but not least: here’s the third episode of our my/of/Berlin special!
Today it’s Karo’s turn. She’ll share some of her favorite Berlin spots with us. At of/Berlin she’s responsible for product research and managing our designer network. Plus: as some of you might know, she’s our favorite model. Let’s go Karo…
1. When and why did you come to Berlin?
I came here quite spontaneously in 2008.
2. How do you think Berlin is going to change within the next 10 years?
Don’t get me wrong, in my opinion Berlin is still a very exciting city. However, it seems that it does everything to get lost in the shuffle of uniformity. This is where of/Berlin comes in: we have to take countermeasures and show people what the city has to offer besides the usual mainstream activities.
3. Your favorite Berlin designer/shop?
Andreas Murkudis is always worth a visit. Like of/Berlin, Un Autre Voodoo in Neukölln offers an amazing range of interesting Berlin products. At the moment my favorite shops are Dress Code, Fräulein Sonntag and the contemporary designer space at KaDeWe.

Kaufhaus des Westens
Tauentzienstraße 21-24, 10789 Berlin
4. Where do you take your friends & family when they visit?
I like to take friends to De Noantri and afterwards to have a cocktail at Kantine Kohlmann. With my parents I recently went to Neni, the restaurant of 25hours hotel at the zoo. The Israeli food and the view from the restroom over the zoo is amazing.
Görlitzer Str. 63, 10997 Berlin
Skalitzer Str. 64, 10997 Berlin
Budapester Str. 40, 10787 Berlin
5. Let's talk about food! What's your all-time favorite restaurant or street food place?
Gorgonzola Club in Kreuzberg because of the nice atmosphere. Beuster bar is also on the agenda quite regularly. Be careful though, it’s booked out all the time.
Dresdener Str. 121, 10999 Berlin
Weserstraße 32, 12045 Berlin
