Today we are starting a brand new blog series! my/Berlin is going to ask several of our beloved cooperation partners and other interesting Berliners exactly 5 questions, which are basically all about their relationship with our favorite city. We will begin this new series with Albertine van Iterson. The dutch artist came to Berlin approximately five years ago for an internship and is now mainly dealing with interdisciplinary design. As a product designer, she is working in her amazing studio located in a beautiful backyard of Kreuzberg. Albertine attaches great importance to keeping the balance between functionality and aesthetics.
1. When and why did you come to Berlin?
I came in 2010 for an internship at Appel Design Gallery located in Torstrasse.

4. Where do you take friends and family when they visit?
Well first we go to the zoo and watch some animals. After that we usually drink a wine at pretty Neni and enjoy the view.

5. Let's talk food: what's your all-time favorite restaurant or street food place?
There are so many! I’d definitely recommend the restaurant Figl. They make delicious pizzas in a very relaxed atmosphere and the service is great!
