The Hoekkerle is the original model of the Boekkle furniture-series. In his sympathetic as well as ergonomic and "buttfriendly" simplicity, it was benevolently welcomed on all hands. This was followed by related designs and thus a whole series of furniture. All Boekkle models unify that they are essentially based on the universal usability of the classic wooden stool. The Boekkle series also includes the "Baenkkle", the "Tischle", the "Laemple" and the "Hängelaemple". However - even solo, every Boekkle stands for itself.
